I am happy to announce the release of Luster Shawl! I designed this shawl because I wanted something warm and cozy to wear over the soulders or as a scarf during winter. The simple lace pattern and the stripes makes a very enjoyable knit. Detailed information can be found here.
I loved working with Madeline Tosh tosh chunky for this! Besides being soft and cushy, the yarn is also tightly spun, which makes it perfect for a lace project.
Temperature has been horribly cold this week, with felt air temperature reaching below -40°C, that I just needed to cuddle on the couch with some warm, very warm yarn! I picked up a mostly abandoned project, Waffle socks.
The stitch is simple but cozy, and the yarn (Berroco Ultra Alpaca Fine) has just the right amount of roughness. Chances are I won’t finish both socks before next winter (I’m very slow at knitting socks!), but in the meantime the promise of toasty feets is enough to keep my motivation high.
I have another pattern available, just in time for gift knitting season! This is a classic unisex hat with a twist, knit seamlessly with the lovely Osprey from Quince & Co. All the details here.
The first Knit Motion pattern is now available for sale! Francine Headband is a turban-inspired accessory that features a unique construction and uses only one skein of bulky yarn. See the details here.
The pattern is available at the special lauching price of $3.00 until September 30th!
